Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our team at Montessori Early Years Inc. This role is essential in fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for our students, contributing to our mission of nurturing young minds.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Montessori principles.
  • Create a welcoming and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative community.
  • Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services.
  • Maintain classroom organization and manage daily schedules effectively.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
  • Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (mandatory).
  • Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting (mandatory).
  • Strong understanding of Montessori methods and philosophy (preferred).
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (somewhat).
  • Leadership experience or potential (somewhat).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively (somewhat).
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment for all children.
