Maliya Wellness Centre, located in the beautiful town of Cochrane, Alberta, is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in women's health with expertise in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy (BHRT) to join our expanding team.

This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while receiving full support from a collaborative in-house team of healthcare professionals and administrative staff. Together, we help women navigate perimenopause, menopause, PMDD, PCOS, and other hormonal transitions with compassion and comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct virtual consultations to assess and manage symptoms related to perimenopause, menopause, PMDD, PCOS, and more.
  • Develop personalized treatment plans, including synthetic or bioidentical HRT, aligned with evidence-based guidelines.
  • Educate clients about treatment options, lifestyle support, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records using the Jane EMR system in alignment with PIPEDA/PIPA regulations.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests and imaging as required.
  • Make appropriate referrals to local providers to ensure collaborative, well-rounded patient care.
  • Prescribe BHRT through trusted compounding pharmacies.
  • Monitor client progress using Maliya's structured BHRT protocol, including prescription management, documentation, and symptom tracking.
  • Perform thorough health assessments and ensure detailed documentation for all client interactions.

Qualifications

  • Advanced training in Bioidentical and Synthetic HRT.
  • Minimum 5 years experience working with Bioidentical Hormones.
  • Current registration with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CRNA).
  • Current private independent registration with Netcare.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and client-centered care skills.
  • Individual liability insurance.
  • Commitment to attending monthly staff meetings (virtual or in-person).
