Confidential is a modern telepharmacy and virtual care service on accessible, personalized healthcare specializing in women across Ontario. We provide consultative pharmacy care, prescribing support, chronic disease management, and specialized women's health services including menopause, PCOS, postpartum care, and fertility-adjacent support. Our mission is to deliver compassionate, evidence-based care through seamless digital experiences.
We are seeking a flexible, on-call Nurse Practitioner with a genuine interest in women's health to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
- Conduct virtual assessments focused on women's health, hormonal concerns, contraception, menopause, postpartum needs, and wellness.
- Review structured online intake forms and determine appropriate treatment plans.
- Diagnose and manage common acute and chronic conditions within scope.
- Prescribe and manage medications safely and in compliance with Ontario regulations.
- Provide follow-up care, monitoring, and health counselling as needed.
Interprofessional Collaboration
- Work closely with the pharmacist team on shared care plans, medication management, and prescribing optimization.
- Participate in case reviews and coordinate care for patients requiring multi-disciplinary support.
- Refer patients to appropriate specialists or services when required.
Patient Education & Support
- Educate patients on treatment options, medication adherence, lifestyle recommendations, and health promotion.
- Respond to secure messages/questions from patients on a flexible, on-call basis.
- Support virtual programs related to menopause, PCOS, postpartum mental health, contraceptive counselling, and chronic disease management.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in the EMR.
- Follow all regulatory, privacy, and professional standards set by the CNO.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives within a digital-first clinic model.
Qualifications
- Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner (Primary Health Care NP-PHC or Adult) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Strong clinical interest in women's health (menopause, reproductive health, hormonal disorders, sexual health, postpartum care).
- Experience working in primary care, virtual care, or outpatient settings is an asset.
- Comfortable with technology-enabled care, asynchronous assessments, and EMR documentation.
- Strong communication skills and ability to provide empathetic, patient-centered care.
Ability to work flexible hours and respond to patient cases on an as-needed basis.
