Bilingual Dispatcher (French/English) – Flatbed Experience Required

Join a team that drives success across borders. Brona Transport LTD is seeking a motivated and experienced Dispatcher to join our dynamic logistics team.

The ideal candidate is fully bilingual in French and English, has over 2 years of experience in dispatching, and is confident managing flatbed trailer operations across Canada and the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and dispatch flatbed trucks for local and cross-border deliveries.
  • Communicate effectively with drivers, customers, and third-party carriers in both French and English.
  • Monitor shipment status, track progress, and handle unexpected delays or route changes.
  • Ensure compliance with all transportation and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch logs, records, and delivery documents.
  • Optimize route planning and load assignments to improve efficiency.
  • Provide support and instructions to drivers throughout their routes.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a dispatcher in the trucking/transport industry.
  • Solid knowledge of flatbed trailer operations.
  • Fully bilingual – fluent in French and English (spoken and written).
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with dispatch software and GPS tracking systems.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with Canada- USA border logistics is an asset.
