Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator – Snow Removal
Pay: $35–$70/hr (no standby) OR up to $40/hr + $300/week standby
Contract: Nov 17, 2025 – Mar 29, 2026
Location: Various GTA client sites
We're looking for experienced Loader Operators to join our winter snow removal team. You'll operate NEW John Deere loaders (344, 444, 524, 624, 644) to clear parking lots and laneways at large client sites. Reliability, safety, and strong equipment skills are essential — an in-person drive test is required.
What You'll Do
- Be on-call 24/7 and respond quickly (within 60 minutes) during snow events
- Safely operate loaders or skid steers with plows, wing blades, or salt spreaders
- Follow site maps and complete routes accurately and on time
- Perform equipment checks, fueling, and basic maintenance
- Communicate with supervisors and work as part of a team
- Follow all safety standards and wear PPE

What you bring
- Proven experience operating heavy equipment in a snow removal or similar environment
- Valid G license preferred; DZ or AZ license is an asset
- Must be available 24/7 on-call during the winter season, including weekends and holidays
- Able to report to work on time for each shift when called in
- Physically fit and capable of working in extreme winter weather conditions
- Comfortable working independently and under time pressure
- Knowledge of basic mechanical systems and routine equipment maintenance
- Able to read site maps and follow digital dispatch systems
