Job Description: We are currently seeking a licensed Funeral Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will be professional, compassionate, and skilled in all aspects of funeral service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet with families to arrange and coordinate funeral and memorial services.
  • Direct funeral services with professionalism, sensitivity, and attention to detail.
  • Prepare and file all necessary legal documents, including death certificates and permits.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, maintenance, and readiness of all facilities, vehicles, and equipment.
  • Maintain compliance with provincial regulations and funeral home policies.
  • Provide ongoing support and communication to families before, during, and after services.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Funeral Director in the Province of British Columbia (required).
  • Proven experience in funeral service.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate demeanor.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver's license required.
