Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and a strong background in the food and beverage industry. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting beverages, serving patrons, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to food safety standards.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
  • Operate the Micros POS system for order processing, cash handling, and inventory management.
  • Engage with customers to provide excellent service, take orders, and offer recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling practices.
  • Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and maintain smooth operations.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining a balanced cash drawer at the end of each shift.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or bar setting is preferred, with a strong understanding of the food industry.
  • Proficient in using POS systems, specifically Micros POS is a plus.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with patrons.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
