Overview

We're looking for talented Bakers and Pastry Cooks to join our busy production team. If you love early mornings, laminated dough, pastries, consistency, and a little organized chaos, this might be the perfect spot for you. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in baking and pastry arts, with a keen eye for detail and a love for creating beautiful desserts. This role requires creativity, dedication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Opening Early January 2026

Duties

  • Prepare and bake a wide range of pastries, cakes, breads, and desserts according to established recipes and standards
  • Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, ensuring visual appeal for presentation
  • Assist in food preparation tasks including mixing, measuring, and combining ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Package baked goods for display or sale, ensuring proper labeling and presentation
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons when necessary and addressing any inquiries about dessert offerings
  • Adhere to all food handling guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Early-morning reliability
  • Passion for baking and learning new techniques

Experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a restaurant or bakery is required
  • Professional training in Pastry Arts or Culinary Arts is strongly preferred
  • Strong skills in cake decorating and pastry preparation are essential
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations within the food industry
  • Ability to work effectively within a team while also demonstrating independence in tasks
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently
  • A passion for baking and creating innovative dessert items that delight customers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.60-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 36 per week
