The Senior Accountant will ensure the integrity of accounting information and accurate financial statements through strong internal controls and accounting knowledge.

Summary of Responsibilities

  • Proactive management of month-end accounting, reporting and account reconciliations.
  • Support budget & forecasts preparation and reporting according to schedule.
  • Provides information and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Manage and prepare parent company reporting requirements through Hyperion.
  • Ensure compliance with Marmon's Standard Practice Instructions, Sarbanes Oxley, Internal Controls and FCPA and support internal audits.
  • Analyze financial information and summarize financial status.
  • Implement new processes and systems, such as ACH payments, to ensure continued improvement.
  • Acts as a finance partner to leadership and project teams.
  • Ad hoc projects as needed and other duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years related experience
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or related
  • Accounting designation (preferred)
  • Problem solver with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles
  • Experience with Epicor or similar ERP platforms
  • Self-motivated, organized, with strong attention to detail
