We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and providing exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is ready
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning fluids, and providing support as needed
- Take and develop dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models
- Maintain accurate patient records and update medical history as necessary
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow to ensure efficient operation of the dental office

Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in Abel dental software for appointment scheduling and record keeping
- Knowledge of and Pediatrics to assist with specialized procedures
- Strong dental assisting skills including chairside assisting, taking impressions,
- Familiarity with Itero scanner
- Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry
