Join our dynamic team as a Property Manager holding a CMRAO General Licence, available on a part-time or full-time basis to cover maternity leave. Duties

  • Manage day-to-day property operations, including leasing activities and tenant communications
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations such as Landlord-Tenant Law, Fair Housing regulations, and CMRAO licensing requirements
  • Coordinate property maintenance and facilities management to uphold property standards and tenant satisfaction
  • Handle legal administrative tasks including contracts, lease agreements, and dispute resolution
  • Utilize property management software such as Yardi or OneSite for data entry, reporting, and record keeping
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure property safety and adherence to regulatory standards
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Assist with property marketing efforts, upselling amenities or lease options to prospective tenants

Qualifications

  • Valid CMRAO General Licence (Part-Time or Full-Time) with experience in property management or real estate administrative roles
  • Strong knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and related legal frameworks
  • Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or CMMS systems
  • Experience with LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) properties is a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage lease agreements effectively
  • Office experience including data entry, filing, and administrative support tasks
  • Knowledge of facilities management, property maintenance coordination, and basic building systems (FACILITIES MANAGEMENT)
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in legal documentation and record keeping
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
