Responsibilities
What You'll Do:
- Operate with safety and precision – Drive and operate a self-loader truck in compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
- Meet performance targets – Work independently to achieve production and utilization goals in remote and dynamic environments.
- Inspect and maintain equipment – Conduct daily inspections of your truck and loader, reporting any issues to ensure operational readiness.
- Secure your load – Load and secure logs using the self-loader, following all legal and safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the team – Communicate with loader operators and dispatch to ensure efficient routing and delivery.
What We're Looking For:
- Experienced driver – Minimum 2 years of truck driving experience; 5 years and off-highway logging experience preferred.
- Certified and capable – Valid Class 1 Driver's License required; additional safety or mechanical certifications are an asset.
- Mechanically minded – Basic troubleshooting skills and a strong understanding of truck and loader maintenance.
- Independent and adaptable – Comfortable working alone in remote areas and making decisions on the fly.
- Strong communicator – Able to coordinate effectively with field teams and report clearly to supervisors.
