The Opportunity:

The Investment Associate will support the ETF & Alternative Strategists by generating investment and capital markets content to provide FIC Sales colleagues. The Investment Associate will provide product expertise, investment perspectives, competitive intelligence, and information & analysis to support the sales of FIC's ETF and Alternative strategies. The Investment Associate will support sales efforts with product analysis, ETF/Alt education, and content for marketing.

What You Will Do:

Strategist, and Sales support:

  • Ensure Strategists are fully supported with content, communications and messages aligned with FIC overall business and sales objectives.

  • Collaborate with Strategists, Marketing, Sales and other internal partners in the development of materials for ETF and Alternative solutions.

  • Support Strategist in the development and analysis of thought leadership pieces, and high-quality product commentaries.

  • Provide Strategists with support for marketing and client interactions.

  • Support Strategists and sales team members with ad hoc queries for product information.

  • Responsible for liaising with key partners to assist with internal approval processes when required; includes legal & compliance, and marketing.

Build, maintain and communicate an expert level of knowledge on Fidelity's ETF and Alternative products and the capital markets in which they invest:

  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of FIC's ETF and Alternative product line strengths and weaknesses.

  • Maintain accurate product positioning on the dimensions style, process, product attributes, and characteristics.

  • Demonstrate market and competitive investment expertise. Stay on top of current capital markets events impacting our products

Build and maintain working relations with ETF & Alternative Strategists, retail sales teams, and marketing partners:

  • Demonstrate strong support for Strategists and FIC business.

  • Demonstrate a high level of internal client service with timely and appropriate responses to all reasonable sales team member requests for information on our products.

  • Positive feedback by the Strategists, Sales and internal partners regarding timely and investment analysis and support with capital market content.

What We're Looking For:

  • Undergraduate university degree, with a focus in Finance preferred, or equivalent work experience

  • 1-2 years of relevant investment industry experience

  • Progressing towards a CFA designation
