Our stair manufacturing team has a reputation of being the best in the business. We are looking for full-time employees to join our Stair Delivery team, for the safe and on-time delivery of finished product from our factory to homes under construction.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for overtime during busy seasons.

The wage range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on your skills and experience.

Your day-to-day responsibilities

· This position includes both driving (G Class, 5-ton truck) and being a passenger in support of the delivery process.

· Load pre-fabricated stairs into delivery vehicles at KOTT's facility.

· Deliver and unload stairs in specified houses on residential job sites in the Ottawa area.

· During non-peak periods, this role will support shop operations by performing tasks (including but not limited to)

o Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the worksite(s)

o Picking/staging orders and materials

o Other duties as assigned

What you need to succeed

· General moving experience

· Experience with residential construction sites is considered an asset

· Ability to operate 5-ton truck (Hydraulic brakes/ G-class only required)

· Clean Driving Records / Abstract required

· Experience with an ELD drivers log is a strong asset

· Ability to work well as part of a team

· Ability to handle a variety of power tools

· Capable of lifting over 100 lbs (45 kg) on a daily basis

· Ability to work in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions

· Working From Heights certification mandatory (current)

· Ability to communicate well in English

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required – KOTT will provide other PPE
