Family-run for 50 years, KOTT Inc. is one of Ontario’s largest suppliers of residential construction products and services. Our more than 250 employees serve builders and contractors from four manufacturing and distribution locations in Ottawa and the GTA.

Our stair manufacturing team has a reputation of being the best in the business. We are looking for full-time employees to join our Stair Delivery team, for the safe and on-time delivery of finished product from our factory to homes under construction.

Your regular schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6:30 am to 5:00 pm, with the potential for overtime during busy seasons.

The wage range for this position is $20.00 to $25.00 per hour, based on your skills and experience.

- **Your day-to-day responsibilities**_
- This position includes both driving (G Class, 5-ton truck) and being a passenger in support of the delivery process.
- Load pre-fabricated stairs into delivery vehicles at KOTT’s facility.
- Deliver and unload stairs in specified houses on residential job sites in the Ottawa area.
- During non-peak periods, this role will support shop operations by performing tasks (including but not limited to)
- Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the worksite(s)
- Picking/staging orders and materials
- Other duties as assigned

**What you need to succeed**
- General moving experience
- Experience with residential construction sites is considered an asset
- Ability to operate 5-ton truck (Hydraulic brakes/ G-class only required)
- Clean Driving Records / Abstract required
- Experience with an ELD drivers log is a strong asset
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Ability to handle a variety of power tools
- Capable of lifting over 100 lbs (45 kg) on a daily basis
- Ability to work in an outdoor setting in all weather conditions
- Working From Heights certification mandatory (current)
- Ability to communicate well in English

Please note that CSA-approved safety footwear is required - KOTT will provide other PPE

- 5 Ton Truck Driving: 2 years (required)
- Construction: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver Abstract (within 30 days) (required)
- G Class (or QC Class 3) License (required)
- Working at Heights Certificate (preferred)
