Job Summary

Booster Juice is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Part-Time Team Members to join our vibrant team. This role involves providing exceptional service in a fast-paced food environment, preparing delicious smoothies and snacks, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers. Ideal candidates are friendly, efficient, and eager to contribute to a positive customer experience while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve smoothies, juices, and food items according to company recipes and standards
  • Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, for accurate order processing and cash handling
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using cash registers or POS systems
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area, equipment, and dining space in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, blending, and assembling menu items
  • Follow food handling and safety procedures diligently to ensure quality and hygiene standards are met

Skills

  • Experience with POS systems, particularly Micros POS, is preferred
  • Previous experience in the food industry or as a barista is a plus
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude under pressure
  • Serving experience or familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous
