We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring medication safety, and supporting clinical operations within our hospital setting. Responsibilities

  • Dispense prescription medications accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols
  • Provide expert consultation to healthcare professionals and patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and interactions
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and regulatory requirements related to medication management
  • Monitor patient responses to prescribed therapies and adjust medication plans as necessary in collaboration with medical staff
  • Maintain detailed documentation of medication dispensing and patient interactions in accordance with hospital policies
  • Oversee medication storage, inventory control, and proper disposal procedures
  • Educate patients and their families on medication administration, potential side effects, and safety precautions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive patient care plans

Requirements

  • Valid pharmacist license in the state of practice
  • Hospital experience preferred, especially in acute care or pediatrics settings
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medication administration protocols, and patient care standards
  • Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced healthcare environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to all regulatory guidelines
  • Prior experience with medication management systems is a plus

Pay: $60.00-$66.00 per hour
