Job Summary

We are a FRENCH DAYCARE seeking a dedicated and compassionate Daycare Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for helping with activities, children supervision, and other duties.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Educate children on various subjects through hands-on activities, play, and structured lessons under the supervision of qualified staff
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to support each child's growth.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom space that promotes learning.
  • Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall daycare program.
  • Assist with meal planning and toy cleaning and disenfecting.

Experience

** We are a francophone daycare. This position requires a basic level of french language or french immersion ***

  • Prior experience in early childhood education or caregiving is an asset
  • Strong communication skills in both French and English to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A genuine love for teaching and nurturing young minds.
