Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of baked goods, including cakes, pastries, and desserts, following established recipes and standards
  • Decorate cakes and desserts with artistic designs to meet customer specifications and enhance visual appeal
  • Assist with food preparation tasks such as mixing, portioning, and assembling ingredients
  • Ensure all food handling procedures comply with safety and sanitation regulations
  • Package baked goods securely for retail or catering purposes
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
  • Provide friendly and attentive customer service when interacting with clients or guests
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure quality control and prevent contamination

Experience

  • Prior experience in cake decorating or bakery is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Restaurant experience or food industry background is advantageous
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and kitchen operations is desirable
  • Experience in food preparation, baking, or culinary arts will contribute to success in this role
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude are essential

We are looking for an individual with strong work ethic who can work with minimum supervision. We are willing to offer very flexible schedule for the right person.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
