The Busser / Food Runner supports the front-of-house team by ensuring guest tables are clean, properly set, and promptly serviced. This role also assists servers by running food, and maintaining the food preparing area for a smooth and efficient guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver food orders from the kitchen to guests in a timely and accurate manner
  • Clear and reset tables between guests according to restaurant standards
  • Assist servers with guest service, including refills, extra plates, condiments, and utensils
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room, expo line, and service stations
  • Check dishes for proper presentation and accuracy before running to tables
  • Remove dirty dishes, glassware, and utensils to designated areas
  • Refill water, tea, and other non-alcoholic beverages as directed
  • Assist with table setups for larger parties or peak times
  • Communicate with kitchen and FOH staff to ensure smooth service flow
  • Follow safety, food handling, and sanitation guidelines at all times
  • Uphold company standards for hospitality, guest service, and teamwork
  • Perform side work, cleaning duties, and closing tasks as assigned

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Prior restaurant experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Ability to carry large trays safely (if applicable)
  • Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 30–40 lbs as needed
  • Reliable, punctual, and customer-service minded
  • Friendly, positive, and professional attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
