Associate/Senior Commercial Real Estate Analyst
We are seeking a talented Junior and/or Senior Real Estate Analyst who will report to the Director of Underwriting and will be responsible for providing analytical thinking and market research for VA Capital. VA Capital is a leading commercial mortgage brokerage firm in Quebec. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and versatile. We are located 160, King Street, Montreal, QC. This role requires a full-time presence at the VA Capital office.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in underwriting the financing of commercial properties.
- Participation in full due diligence of Real Estate Financing opportunities
- Provide analytical and market research.
- Maintain the weekly pipeline and financial reporting through Ascendix (Pipeline platform).
- Work in collaboration with VA Capital brokers and their clients to gather the information required for financing.
The candidate will:
- Be a detail-oriented yet highly responsive multi-tasker who loves a good challenge;
- Should possess good time management skills, respect established deadlines, and communicate priorities and expectations for various team members;
- Have the time management and self-discipline necessary to address responsibilities in a fast-paced environment;
- Should work independently, deliver client-ready work, and follow through on assignments with minimal direction;
- Has a proven ability to effectively work with internal teams to complete assigned tasks and projects within the proposed timeframe;
- Must have strong interpersonal skills, good judgment, and be capable of communicating. with a diverse range of individuals; and
- Must have strong customer support orientation, demonstrate a professional demeanor, and the ability to maintain confidential information.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, or another relevant field;
- 0 to 3 years of experience or more in a related field;
- Strong understanding and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint);
- Passion and/or experience in the real estate industry are assets; and
- Fluency in English and French;

Responsabilités :
- Assister l'équipe dans la souscription du financement des propriétés commerciales.
- Participer à l'audit complet des opportunités de financement immobilier.
- Fournir des analyses et des études de marché.
- Maintenir le pipeline hebdomadaire et les rapports financiers par le biais d'Ascendix (plateforme de pipeline).
- Travailler en collaboration avec les courtiers de VA Capital et leurs clients pour rassembler les informations nécessaires au financement.
Le candidat devra :
- Avoir le souci du détail et être très réactif dans l'accomplissement de tâches multiples et aimer relever les défis ;
- Posséder de bonnes compétences en matière de gestion du temps, respecter les délais fixés et communiquer les priorités et les attentes des différents membres de l'équipe ;
- Avoir la gestion du temps et l'autodiscipline nécessaires pour faire face aux responsabilités dans un environnement en évolution rapide ;
- Travailler de manière indépendante, fournir un travail prêt pour le client et suivre les missions avec un minimum d'instructions ;
- Avoir une capacité avérée à travailler efficacement avec les équipes internes pour mener à bien les tâches et les projets qui lui sont confiés dans les délais impartis ;
- Doit posséder de solides compétences interpersonnelles, faire preuve de discernement et être capable de communiquer avec un large éventail de personnes.
- Doit avoir une forte orientation vers le soutien à la clientèle, faire preuve d'un comportement professionnel et être capable de préserver la confidentialité des informations.
Qualifications :
- Baccalauréat en administration des affaires, en finance ou dans un autre domaine pertinent ;
- 0 à 3 ans d'expérience ou plus dans un domaine connexe;
- Bonne compréhension et maîtrise de Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint) ;
- La passion et/ou l'expérience dans le secteur de l'immobilier sont des atouts ; et
