Job Description:

Major Job Functions:

• Parts Coordination related to customer equipment maintenance and repair, in the shop and field.
• Customer Service by telephone, walk in or email.
• Attend Service Job Management shop walk through with the team.
• Working as a team to provide regular parts backorder information and reports to the customer and service team.
• Work with the customer to ensure Will Call orders are collected from the branch.
• Ensure accurate required by dates are entered into the software system.
• Consistency in communicating estimated delivery dates to the Service Operations team.
• Complete Pre-Task Safety Assessments.
• Communicate shipping options and freight estimates to the Service Operations team.
• Follow up on requests from the service team and remain accountable until the transaction is complete.
• Procure items not billed to a work order through the ARIBA system.
• General housekeeping – A place for everything and everything in its place.
• Attend all Teams meetings, micro learnings, and trainings requested by the Regional Parts Manager.
• Prepare a crossover with the Service Support Parts Team prior to going off shift.
• Invoice fluids from the pulse system to work orders.
• Process track parts orders for the facility track press.
• Participate in parts related special projects and assignments.
• Participate in call quality and performance initiatives as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Journeyperson Parts Certification coupled with previous parts, warehouse, front counter, sales experience and Caterpillar product knowledge
• A high performance, positive attitude and the ability to build and maintain respectful working relationships
• Clearly demonstrate enthusiasm about their work and must be able to function effectively and purposefully in a dynamic environment
• Ability to deal with difficult situations and potentially unhappy customers
• Capable of working with minimal supervision
• Computer literacy with applicable software knowledge along with shop parts experience
• Experience with SIS, Lawson M3, and the MS Office Package will be considered assets
• Industry experience in the following areas would be considered strong assets to a successful candidacy: Mining, Heavy Construction and Technology Products.

Note:

• This position is based at Mildred Lake and follows a 7x7 continuous shift rotation
• This is NOT a fly in fly out position. Camp or allowance for living in Fort McMurray will be provided.
• Candidate selection will be in compliance with the Terms & Conditions of the current Collective Agreement
