We are proud members of TTMAC, NFCA, and Starnet Commercial Flooring Partnership, and we work on high-profile institutional, healthcare, and commercial projects throughout Nova Scotia and beyond.

We're growing and looking to add experienced Floor Covering Installers (NOC to our Halifax-based team.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered.
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay or underpadding.
  • Install carpet, vinyl, linoleum, hardwood, and other resilient floor coverings using the appropriate adhesives, seamers, rollers, stretchers, and tools.
  • Repair, replace, or patch damaged flooring as needed.
  • Read blueprints and specifications to determine layout and materials required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with company and site safety requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with site supervisors, project managers, and other trades to meet schedule and quality targets.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of carpet, vinyl, rubber, hardwood, and other resilient flooring systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret specifications, drawings, and material data sheets.
  • Must be comfortable using hand and power tools related to the trade.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Safety certifications (WHMIS, Fall Arrest, etc.) an advantage.
