Your responsibilities would include…

  • Welcoming patients to our office. Getting to know new patients to start building long-term relationships. Engaging with our existing patients on a first-name basis, providing personalized service and making them feel special.
  • Interacting with patients about their interests, lifestyle and existing eyewear to personalize selection of frames, glasses lenses and contact lenses.
  • Effortlessly managing several clients in the office at the same time, making sure everyone is being looked after. Going the extra mile by offering coffee and other beverages while they wait.
  • Ensuring the office remains clean, organized, and visually impressive throughout the day so every client enjoys a 'wow' experience.
  • Performing reception duties including great initial conversations on the phone when patients call with enquiries.

This role is perfect for you if…

  • You have previous optometry assistant experience.
  • You have excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and make personal connections with patients, both over the phone and in person.
  • You are enthusiastic yet professional and enjoy conversations with new people.
  • You can multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
  • You are a team player and enjoy working with like-minded colleagues to deliver an exceptional service.
  • You are confident and articulate with your communication.

The position is for 30 to 40 hours per week. Must be available to work on weekends.
