The Director of Local Sales (18 month contract) provides strategic leadership and oversight to a team of District Sales Managers and/or Sales Consultants, driving significant sales growth, profitability, and market share within a larger geographic area or key market segment. This role focuses on developing talent, implementing strategic initiatives, and fostering strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve significant revenue and profit growth.
- Oversee district sales performance, analyzing trends and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Identify and develop key customer relationships and strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute regional and national sales strategies.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and performance.
- Manage sales budgets and resources effectively.
- Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales talent.
Skills
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities.
- Deep understanding of the foodservice industry and sales landscape.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in CRM and other sales management tools.
Education
Bachelor's degree in related discipline or an additional 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Experience
9+ years of experience, of which at least 5 leading a team
