Job Overview
We are seeking a part-time dishwasher to join our fast-paced Thai restaurant. This role will have hours on weekends and some weekdays. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in dishwashing in a restaurant or hospitality setting. Additional training will be provided. Benefits include one meal per shift.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using appropriate cleaning methods.
- Maintain the cleanliness of dishwashing stations and ensure all items are stored properly after cleaning.
- Assist in organizing and restocking supplies in the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
- Follow safety and sanitation policies to uphold health standards within the kitchen environment.
- Support food preparation activities by handling food tasks when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Assist with general cleaning duties around the kitchen and dining areas to maintain a hygienic environment.
Requirements
- Prior dishwashing in a restaurant or hospitality environment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Willingness to learn new skills related to kitchen operations and food safety protocols.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 12 per week
