Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to assemble, fabricate, and restore various structures and fixtures. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and performing heavy lifting as needed. The Carpenter will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed to high standards of quality and safety.

Duties

  • Assemble and fabricate wooden structures, frameworks, and fixtures according to specifications.
  • Plumb walls, install drywall, and ensure proper alignment of structures.
  • Lay tile for flooring and other surfaces as required.
  • Restore existing structures by repairing or replacing damaged components.
  • Install siding and other exterior finishes to enhance the aesthetic appeal of buildings.
  • Collaborate with other construction professionals to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and materials are stored properly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Carpenter or in a similar role within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with carpentry work.
  • Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and best practices in carpentry.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
