All About Care is currently seeking compassionate and experienced Health Care Aides to provide care for one of our male clients in SE &SW Calgary, AB. If you have a passion for enriching the lives of seniors and are looking for a meaningful and rewarding role, we invite you to apply.

Position: Health Care Aide

Schedule: Monday to Friday 5:00-10:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Provide assistance with personal care, including showering
  • Assist client with meal preparation and prepare meals according to client's needs and preferences
  • Offer companionship and engage in stimulating activities (e.g., word games, simple puzzles) to support the client's mental well-being
  • Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry
  • Assist the client with daily exercise routines
  • Accompany the client on walks
  • Ensure the client's comfort, safety, and overall well-being during each visit

Requirements:

  • Health Care Aide certification or relevant caregiving experience
  • Previous experience working with seniors, especially those with dementia
  • Availability to work on Monday to Friday 5:00-10:00 pm
  • Have a valid class 5 Driver's License
  • Own a vehicle for transportation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Be comfortable around and able to assist with the care of a small dog
