Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tearista to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong appreciation for the art of tea preparation and service, with a focus on delivering an exceptional customer experience. As a Tearista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality tea beverages, educating customers about various tea types, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our establishment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of tea beverages with precision and care.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tea preparation area and customer seating spaces.
  • Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels of tea leaves, supplies, and equipment.
  • Engage with customers to provide personalized service and address any inquiries or concerns.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on new products and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food service or beverage preparation is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Strong communication skills with a friendly demeanour towards customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • A genuine passion for tea and willingness to learn about its diverse varieties and preparation methods.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: $17.20-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
