POSITION SUMMARY
Senior executive responsible for strategic commercial leadership and P&L management of client's LNG, LCNG, and CNG operations across Nigeria.
Drives revenue growth, market expansion, and customer acquisition across industrial, transportation, government, and private sectors with full accountability for national sales performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial Strategy & Execution:
Develop and execute national commercial strategy for CNG, LCNG, and LNG segments across Nigeria's Regions & 36 states
Direct sales operations with complete P&L accountability and revenue optimization
Lead business development targeting industrial clients, fleet operators, government
institutions, and commercial enterprises
Drive market penetration, competitive positioning, and strategic pricing initiatives
Monitor market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape
Revenue & Market Development:
Achieve annual revenue targets:
Expand into underserved states through strategic distribution partnerships
Negotiate major supply contracts with manufacturers, power plants, cement producers, and fleet operators
Develop government relationships at federal, state, and local levels
Create CNG station infrastructure partnerships for network expansion
Customer & Relationship Management
Acquire and retain high-value clients across all market segments
Manage strategic customer relationships and executive-level negotiations
Ensure customer retention through service excellence and relationship management
Develop reference customers and market case studies Leadership & Operations
Provide strategic direction to Commercial Sales Manager, Commercial Operations Manager, and Zone Managers
Establish sales methodologies, performance standards, and accountability frameworks
Ensure delivery excellence, logistics efficiency, and operational cost management
Drive cross-functional collaboration and team development
Maintain safety compliance and operational standards

QUALIFICATIONS
Required
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, Economics, or related field (MBA preferred)
15+ years commercial/sales leadership experience; 8+ years senior management
Proven energy sector sales track record (LNG/CNG/oil & gas preferred)
Demonstrated B2B/B2G success with industrial and government clients
Success experiences in route to market implementation strategies
Deep knowledge of Nigeria's energy market and regulatory environment
Strong P&L management and financial acumen
Executive presence with C-suite and government engagement capability
Preferred
Established network in Nigeria's industrial, transportation, and government sectors
Infrastructure development and PPP experience
High-performance commercial team building experience
CNG/LNG technical knowledge and safety standards expertise
Professional sales/business development certifications
