THE OPPORTUNITY

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, proactive, socially engaged indiviudal who is ready to step up and make a difference in the lives of our Club youth. You are an outgoing individual who enjoys working with youth. This individual will support our Club in the delivery, organization, set-up and take-down of youth events.

Shifts would be 3-10 hours/week (Saturday and holiday breaks availability) depending on the events.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support youth craft and activities for our youth programming.
  • May be opportunities within the season to work at other events as needed.
  • Direct and coordinate youth, with the ability to engage and inspire.
  • Interact and converse with members, guests and other employees in a friendly, courteous and co-operative manner. Maintain a positive and helpful attitude towards members, guests and other employees.
  • Work closely with the events team to understand the requirements of each event.
  • Assist with the set-up and take down materials from the event.
  • Assist with other related duties which contribute to the success of the events.
  • Ensure event space is clean, organized and safe.
  • Give feedback to the manager of the event's success.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Relevant experience would be an asset.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
  • Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • High energy levels with an ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Flexible, adaptable and able to execute a range of job duties and changing priorities.
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to perform under stress.
  • Possess professional maturity and impeccable integrity.
