The Blueprint 

We are seeking a strategic Director of People and Culture to join our leadership team during a pivotal phase of growth. This role reports directly to the President, with strategic oversight and guidance from the Vice President People and Culture. You will play a critical role in shaping the future of our organization by building and optimizing the HR infrastructure that supports our people, culture, and business objective

As a key partner to the President, Vice President People and Culture and shared services teams, you will lead the development of scalable HR systems, processes, and structures that drive operational excellence, ensure compliance, and align with our long-term goals. You will also champion organizational development initiatives that enhance team effectiveness, foster innovation, and cultivate a culture of collaboration and inclusion.

A Glimpse into Your Daily Activities

HR Strategy & Leadership/Organizational Development: 

  • Collaborate with the President and Vice President of People and Culture to design and implement a strategic HR roadmap aligned with the company's goals. 
  • Act as a trusted advisor to leadership, providing insights on workforce planning, talent strategy, and organizational growth. 
  • Design and lead initiatives to improve organizational effectiveness, including team alignment, role clarity, and performance optimization. 
  • Streamline HR operations to enhance efficiency, scalability, and employee experience. 

Partnership with Shared Services:

  • Work closely with shared services teams (e.g., payroll, IT, and people and culture to ensure seamless HR operations and employee support. 
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives to integrate HR systems and processes with organizational infrastructure. 
  • Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making and measure impact. 
  • Work with shared services to develop and refine core HR processes, including employee lifecycle management, payroll, compliance frameworks, and record-keeping. 

Compliance & Risk Management: 

  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, regulations, and internal policies. 
  • Develop HR policies that promote ethical practices and minimize organizational risks. 
  • Maintain and regularly update the employee handbook to reflect the organization's culture and compliance requirements. 

Talent Acquisition & Management: 

  • Lead efforts to attract, onboard, and retain top talent.
  • Oversee performance management systems, career development programs, and employee recognition initiatives.
  • Partner build and oversee employee and leadership training programs with greater people and culture team to address skill development and organizational needs. 
  • Promote continuous learning and professional growth opportunities across the organization.

Culture & Employee Engagement: 

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture. 
  • Develop and implement programs that enhance employee engagement, recognition, and well-being. 

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Partner with shared services to design and administer competitive compensation and benefits programs. 
  • Conduct regular market benchmarking to ensure equitable and market-aligned offerings. 

The Architect of Your Success

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field (Masters Degree preferred). 
  • Proven success in designing and leading organization development and change management initiatives. 
  • Strong ability to collaborate with shared services teams to enhance operational efficiency. 
  • Deep knowledge of HR compliance, employment laws, and regulatory requirements. 
  • Experience partnering with senior leadership to influence business outcomes. 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and project management skills. 
  • Proficiency in HRIS platforms and data-driven decision-making.
