At IAMGOLD, we are looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Translation Intern.

Note: There is only one position available, based either in Toronto (hybrid mode) or in Quebec (remote work).
In this role, you will play a key part in translating a wide range of documents from English to French, including memos, press releases, presentations, reports, training manuals, user guides, procedures, policies, and much more. These documents span various fields such as administration, human resources, environment, health and safety, sustainability, and mining operations.

Responsibilities include not only translation tasks but also editing and proofreading texts for the translation department and other related services. As part of your role, you will conduct terminology research and extract terms from various sources, including internal documentation, the internet, and subject matter experts within the company.

Job Qualifications
What You Need to Succeed
To succeed in this position, you should be at least in your third year of a translation program with a specialization in English-to-French translation. Exceptional command of both English and French is essential. You should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and familiar with terminology databases. Attention to detail, a quality-focused mindset, and knowledge of SDL Trados are crucial for this internship.
