Overview

As a Kitchen Team Member, you will play a vital role in our retail market's success by ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for food preparation, cooking, and maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness. Duties

  • Assist in the preparation of meals according to established recipes and standards.
  • Cook and assemble food items for service, ensuring quality and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Follow food safety protocols to ensure the health and safety of all customers.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to food handling and preparation.

Skills

  • Experience in food service environment is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques and meal assembly is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in handling food.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • A passion for cooking and a willingness to learn new skills in the kitchen.
