Do you take pride in creating order from chaos, keeping things spotless, and supporting a fast-paced kitchen behind the scenes? Join L'îlette Boulangerie in Qualicum Beach as part of our growing team.

As our Dishwasher & Kitchen/Bakery Support, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our café, bakery, and restaurant. You'll ensure every dish, tool, and surface is cleaned to the highest standard helping our bakers and cooks focus on creating beautiful food and memorable guest experiences.

Your Role in the Kitchen/Bakery

  • Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, baking tools, and kitchen equipment
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dish area, kitchen, and back-of-house spaces
  • Support food prep by handling ingredients and basic kitchen tasks as needed
  • Empty garbage, recycling, and compost, following proper procedures
  • Ensure clean tools and equipment are always available for bakery, café, and restaurant staff
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety standards

Our Hours

  • Tuesday to Sunday, part-time or full-time
  • Mornings, afternoons, and weekends required
  • Flexible scheduling to meet business needs

What You Bring

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is an asset, but not required
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-focused mindset with a positive, can-do attitude
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to learn and support the team wherever needed
