Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Roofing Site Superintendent to oversee construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction management processes. The Site Superintendent will coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and clients to deliver successful projects that meet all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily on-site operations, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgets
  • Supervise construction activities, including coordinating subcontractors and labor forces
  • Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Oversee quality control processes to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents accurately
  • Utilize construction management software for planning and documentation
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and enforce safety protocols on-site
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop and update project schedules and budgets
  • Review construction estimates and assist in project planning and resource allocation
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in supervising construction projects with a strong background in construction management
  • Demonstrated supervising experience in the construction industry
  • Extensive knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction estimating
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures and safety regulations
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Effective leadership skills to motivate teams and coordinate diverse groups of workers
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately
  • Knowledge of budgeting processes related to construction projects
  • Familiarity with construction management best practices and industry standards
