The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, personal support, daily living assistance, and healthcare facility operations, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for patients. This role is vital in supporting nurses and clinical teams while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobilityProvide direct patient care and personal support under nursing supervisionMonitor and report patient condition, behaviour, and needs to nursing staffSupport patients with transfers, positioning, and ambulationMaintain a clean and safe patient care environmentAssist with infection control and hygiene proceduresDocument care activities in patient records and healthcare systemsCommunicate compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare teamsFollow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Healthcare Aide, Health Care Assistant, or Personal Support Worker (PSW)Completion of a recognized Healthcare Aide / Personal Support Worker programStrong understanding of patient care and personal support practicesAbility to work in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsCompassionate, patient-focused, and dependable approach Preferred Qualifications Experience in hospital, long-term care, or acute care settingsKnowledge of infection prevention and control standardsCPR / First Aid certificationWillingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays Why Join IIQAF Group Competitive salary: CAD 50,000 – CAD 60,000 per yearStable role within the Hospital & Health Care sectorCareer growth and training opportunitiesSupportive, patient-centered work environment
