The ideal candidate will have experience in patient care, personal support, daily living assistance, and healthcare facility operations, ensuring comfort, dignity, and safety for patients. This role is vital in supporting nurses and clinical teams while delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility Provide direct patient care and personal support under nursing supervision Monitor and report patient condition, behaviour, and needs to nursing staff Support patients with transfers, positioning, and ambulation Maintain a clean and safe patient care environment Assist with infection control and hygiene procedures Document care activities in patient records and healthcare systems Communicate compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare teams Follow hospital policies, patient safety standards, and healthcare regulations Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Healthcare Aide, Health Care Assistant, or Personal Support Worker (PSW) Completion of a recognized Healthcare Aide / Personal Support Worker program Strong understanding of patient care and personal support practices Ability to work in a fast-paced hospital or healthcare environment Excellent communication and teamwork skills Compassionate, patient-focused, and dependable approach Preferred Qualifications Experience in hospital, long-term care, or acute care settings Knowledge of infection prevention and control standards CPR / First Aid certification Willingness to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays Why Join IIQAF Group Competitive salary: CAD 50,000 – CAD 60,000 per year Stable role within the Hospital & Health Care sector Career growth and training opportunities Supportive, patient-centered work environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
