**Missions and Responsibilities** Job Title**: TRANSPORT EQUIPMENT RELIABILITY SPECIALIST

This position will be responsible to provide technical support to the maintenance and rehab plan for the product transport assets and guide the continuous improvement activities in asset reliability and total cost of ownership. The incumbent will audit practices and compliance with fleet management, maintenance and operation policies in the field, while promoting ALC's safety and quality objectives.

**Bulk Transport Reliability**:

- Improve the overall condition and reliability of the product transport fleet
- Manages the asset rehab program through decision-making on which units, schedule, suppliers and scope.
- Identifies and provides investment justifications for the bulk fleets as required.
- Assist in the specification of new equipment and components with input from the field, suppliers and assistance from engineering
- Assists in the proper use of the computerized maintenance management system (MIRR), and shall be a super-user of the program

**Operations Support**:

- Can issue as well as respond to change requests on the assets via the Management of Change process
- Ensures that the appropriate SOPs are in place and up-to-date within the scope of the position
- Performs field audits against these standards as required by the Air Liquide internal program
- Provides training to personnel on the work practices and procedures

**Practice Harmonization**:

- Ensures good practices at one location are transferred to the others
- Ensures that maintenance practices are consistent between locations
- Ensures consistent quality in the workmanship between the different location

**Safety and Continuous Improvement**:

- Knows and respects all procedures related to the scope of the position and promotes safe behavior
- Ensures that the appropriate corrective and preventive measures are in place in order to address safety and quality issues.
- Organizes trials of new transport technologies to assess their potential. Continuously improves operation efficiency in order to minimize the total cost of ownership of the activity.

**Competencies and Profile** Experience**:3 years industrial experience in engineering, or in fleet operations and maintenance

**Diploma**: Bachelor’s degree mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience

**Training**: Transportation of dangerous goods, IMS, MIRR, CSA B620

**Knowledge**: Oral and written communication skills, distribution activities, tractor and trailer operations and maintenance, computerized systems.

**Language**: Bilingual (English & French)

**Travel**: Less thank 5% travel
