**Important**: Approximately 70% of our workforce speaks Punjabi. **Fluency in Punjabi and English is required** to train effectively and gather process details.

You’ll act as a key link between HR, and plant leadership to foster a culture of safety, performance, and continuous learning.

**Key Responsibilities**

**Training & Development Program Design (50%)**
- Develop and implement onboarding programs in collaboration with HR and department leads.

- Lead the creation and rollout of job-specific SOPs, work instructions, and training documentation.
- Capture photos and videos on the production floor for the SOP and training library.
- Coordinate and schedule internal and external training (HACCP, WHMIS, food safety, Redzone, First Aid).
- Track, maintain, and audit training records to ensure all employees are current on required certifications and compliance courses.
- Conduct regular gap analysis to identify training needs by department or role.
- Assist in preparing for customer, CFIA, and third-party audits by ensuring training records are audit-ready.

**Training Administration & Communications (25%)**
- Maintain and update the training calendar and training dashboards.
- Coordinate logistics for new hire orientation and cross-training programs.
- Provide regular reports on training completion rates, overdue trainings, and department-level compliance.
- Develop internal communication content for bulletin boards, digital signage, and posters to reinforce safety and performance messaging.

**Facility & Employee Support (15%)**
- Manage locker assignments for the workforce.
- Monitor contractor check-in and compliance records for plant access and safety protocols.
- Support administrative duties as assigned (e.g., scan card distribution, shift coverage scheduling).

**Payroll & System Support (10%)**
- Approve and verify timesheets.
- Assist in troubleshooting attendance or payroll discrepancies related to scheduling and clock-ins.

**Qualifications**
- **Fluency in Punjabi and English is required** (spoken and written).
- 3+ years of experience in training coordination, operations, or HR roles; manufacturing or food processing experience is a strong asset.
- Experience in developing and delivering training content.
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and on-the-job training methods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of organizational ability and attention to detail.
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with Redzone, SharePoint, or LMS platforms is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across shifts and departments.
