**Desired Skills and Knowledge**

Applicants should have a Diploma from an accredited Institute of Technology in Red Seal Electrician or Related Experience that reflects the following capabilities:

- Minimum 2 years relevant knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code, CSA 22.2
- Minimum 3 years hands on Electrical wiring
- Strong skills reading and Interpreting electrical schematics
- Familiar with electrical distribution equipment from various manufacturers (Schneider, Siemens, Eaton, etc.)
- Excellent knowledge of Distribution Equipment and B C Hydro Standards
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills

**Main Tasks**:

- Read electrical schematic drawings, line drawings and specifications
- Hands on Electrical Wiring inside shop as per CEC -- kiosk, panels, EV charges, other. (no off site work)
- Testing of functional wiring
- Work as an integral part of the Quality Assurance program to ensure product reliability.
- Act as a technical resource to production and sales team
- Improve and modify existing designs based on design feedback and hands on wiring
- Ensure completed products are built according to required specifications
- Manage quality control documentation as required
- R&D on various projects
- Only those with Canadian Electrical Code experience will be considered_
