Port Coquitlam, Canada Rose Security Services Full time

Rose Security Services is looking to add Security Systems Technicians in BC & Alberta. Successful applicants must have 3+ years experience in the Security Industry, working knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Alarm Systems, and Networks. Rose Security offers an excellent compensation and benefits plan.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers
- Prepare for installations by reviewing installation orders, gathering equipment, supplies, and tools, and coordinating schedules with customers
- Plan installations by surveying and evaluating location, identifying installation requirements, and developing an installation plan
- Install equipment, run wiring, and program and calibrate equipment
- Verify systems functioning properly by testing equipment, connections, and signals, and identifying and correcting problems
- Maintain records by documenting installations and service performed
- Troubleshoot systems, resolve issues for customers and end users
- Stay current on new technology
- Maintain a safe and secure _work_ environment by following safe practices and keeping security information confidential
- This_ is a full-time position, and most workdays are Monday - Friday during the day. Successful applicants may occasionally be required to work evenings and weekends.

**Required Qualifications**:

- _Work_ experience with installation, service, and troubleshooting of security systems
- Have a high quality of workmanship
- Eager to learn new technology and products on a continual basis
- Maintain a clean and organized environment at customer sites
- Ability to _work_ independently & also within a team
- Have a professional and upbeat attitude with the ability to deal with different people
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driver’s abstract
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to climb ladders and _work_ _from_ elevated platforms
- Owning basic security systems hand tools is preferred
- BC Security Worker License (Security Alarm Installer) for BC applicants
- Certificate of Qualification / Trade Qualifications (CoQ / TQ) is an asset for BC applicants
- Safety training and Scissor Lift training is an asset
