As we embark on a strategic digital transformation journey, the role of Finance Manager, North America will be pivotal in modernizing our operations capabilities across McCain Foods.
**Accountabilities**:
Collaborate with our Global Team to implement the business transformation program.
For their region, lead requirements gathering, solution design activities, configuration, testing, and deployment to ensure smooth and timely delivery.
Participate in business planning and strategy sessions as it relates to the transformation program.
Participate in continuous improvement of finance processes by leveraging SAP S/4HANA capabilities.
Maintain governance structures to manage risks, monitor progress, and ensure the program stays within budget and timelines.
Collaborate on change management efforts within the region, ensuring that the team is fully prepared and trained on the new systems.
Engage stakeholders across all levels, functions and regions to understand concerns, gather feedback.
Partner with business process owners, digital technology teams, and external partners to define and validate processes and test scenarios.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of financial accounting and reporting principles.
Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities(matrix).
Effective communication, interpersonal and influencing skills.
Familiarity across all functions of the finance department; across record to report processes.

Results-driven and process improvement-focused with a strong propensity for excellence.
Meticulous and detail-oriented with a bias towards quality.
Proven communication skills with an ability to engage both executive-level management and operational teams effectively.
Passion for innovation and continuous improvement, with a willingness to challenge the status quo.

This role has the flexibility to be based out of any of our corporate offices in North America (Florenceville, New Brunswick; Oakbrook Terrace, IL or Toronto, Ontario).
