OPTY Business Solutions Inc. is a digital accounting firm that provides small businesses with operational accounting services including; bookkeeping, payroll, financial analysis, process design and digitization systems recommendations.
Unlike traditional accounting, less than 10% of data entry is ever needed here. We leverage automation technology and digital software’s to streamline and integrate business processes for our Clients.

**Principle Duties & Responsibilities**
Include but are not limited to:
- Recommend new systems & processes and/or technologies to support Clients growth.
- Meet with Clients to review and analyze their financials
- Setup and Implementation of various software and tools
- Manage and process accounting data migration and compilation
- Provide client training in various software’s and processes
- Prepare written documentation of tasks, instructions, processes and meetings
- Promoting a strong culture of team work as well as promoting OPTY’s work style
- Prepare, analyze and report on financials, budgets, forecasts, cashflow models and data trends
- Bookkeeping functions such as posting expenses and bank reconciliations
- Prepare accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare financial statements, month and year end reporting.
- Prepare and file customized reporting as necessary.
- Prepare quarterly and monthly tax returns.
- Complete monthly payroll and related compliance requirements.

We currently have various opportunities for Full-Time or Part-Time Cloud Accounting Specialist to join our OPTY team. Reporting to the President, this person is involved in a full range of duties, depending on our assessment of your strengths and passion.

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Degree or diploma in accounting, finance or similar field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with bookkeeping or accounting
- Extremely great memory
**Beneficial Qualifications**
- QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification
- Canadian Payroll Practitioner Certificate with the Canadian Payroll Association
**Ideal Skills and Knowledge**
- Ability to identify the root causes and problem solve the issue
- Ability to logically lay out processes and document procedures
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks with many multiple deadlines and urgencies
- Strong proficiency with Windows Computers, Microsoft Office Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Well organized with a strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Excellent decision-making and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects/duties simultaneously.
- Ability to learn new softwares and systems through online training
- Proficiency with; DropBox, Google Drive, Teamwork Projects, Receipt Bank, T-Sheets, Hub Doc, Expensify, Telpay, Ceridian, or Xero is beneficial.
- Experience in coding, programming, educational logic or business analysis an asset.
