**ABOUT THE POSITION**

At** Andrews Senior Care, **we have a collaborative health care model, with a philosophy focused on providing excellence in care to our residents and families. We provide health care at an assisted living level, along with nursing care. **Andrews of Charlottetown **is looking for **Full-Time** Licensed Practical Nurses who have a passion for Senior Care. Shifts will be primarily Monday - Friday but will be required to work some evenings and weekends as needed.

**How You’ll Spend Your Time**
- Collaborate with RNs, RCWs and Caregivers to ensure the best care of residents.
- Supervises, delegates and evaluates the delivery of care ensuring the needs of residents are met
- Promote healthy living including physical and mental activity, healthy eating and resident engagement
- Administer medication to the residents
- Demonstrates accountability for practice using strategies such as providing rationale for decisions and actions, acknowledging errors, taking corrective action, recognizing own limitations and consulting with others as necessary
- Maintains standards of practice in keeping with provincial and national nursing association directions, guidelines and code of ethics

**What You’ll Bring to the Team**
- Currently a Licensed Practical Nurse with the Association of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island or any other province across Canada.
- Must also possess meticulous attention to detail and provide excellent and informed resident-centered care.
- Self motivated, career focused professional, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple demands and establishing work priorities and goals.
