RN Supervisor

Centennial Court is a 116 bed not for profit nursing home located in Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. We are currently accepting applications for a Casual, Part-time and Full-time Registered Nurse's who provide nursing and medical services to those requiring long-term care

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:

• Supervise and lead the team of Caregivers and LPN's
• Promote healthy living including mental and physical activity, healthy eating and engagement
• Work in collaboration with OT, PT and Pharmacists to ensure the best care is provided to residents
• Complete accurate and regular documentation of health status, monitor weights and blood pressures, Braden Scales, fall interventions
• Complete health assessments and monitor vitals
• Work with the house Physician to review health concerns of residents weekly
• Administer daily medications

Qualifications

• · Currently a Registered Nurse with the College of Registered Nurses of Prince Edward Island
• · Current CPR certification
• · Current Vulnerable Record Check within the last three months
• · Proven working knowledge of venipuncture, catheter insertion, injections, etc.
• · Proven organizational skills, adaptability and capability to manage multiple priorities
• · Strong communication skills in addition to the ability to successfully lead, support and empower members of the team
• Successful candidates must have an active registration with CRNPEI, leadership abilities and strong communications skills. The staff must have the ability to promote a positive safe work environment and establish effective working relationships.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $39.32-$49.09 per hour

Expected hours: 37.50 per week
