The Role**:Warehouse Assistant**

Location: Oakville, Ontario

Position Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: Monday - Friday, 6:30AM - 3:00PM, with occasional overtime

**Primary Responsibilities**:
The position will involve the following tasks:

- Provide support for the shipping and receiving department
- Operate tow motor/forklift or other equipment to load, unload, and transport materials, parts, supplies and products throughout the manufacturing plant
- Storing and stacking materials according to company standards
- Inspect tow motor daily to ensure it is in good working condition
- Report any mechanical issues with the tow motor to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate records of materials and products moved using the tow motor
- Verifying/identifying parts and/or materials; reporting shortages or damaged materials
- Adhere to safety regulations while operating the tow motor

**Requirements**:

- 3-5 years of experience operating tow motors or similar equipment
- valid tow motor forklift certification
- ability to read and interpret S&R related documents and safety regulations
- physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy loads of up to 50lbs for extended periods of time
- proficient in basic math skills for inventory and record-keeping purposes
