Property Maintenance Technician

**PROPERTY MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, SPRING LAKE RV RESORT, MT ELGIN, ON**

**$18.00 - 19.00 per hour plus benefits, GRRSP-matching, Wellness Days and Volunteer days, annual bonus.**

We are currently searching for an energetic Full Time Maintenance Technician to join our team at Spring Lake RV Resort.

**The Job**:

- Assist with scheduling and supervising the grounds staff and their daily routines and responsibilities.
- Routine maintenance and minor repairs to property buildings, facilities, and roads.
- All aspects of property maintenance - grass cutting, trimming, weeding, brush and leaf and debris removal.
- Ensure property is always presentable and inviting.
- Assist in preparation of special events and activities.
- Inspect and maintain recreational amenities to ensure proper safety standards are met, completing any minor repairs as needed.
- Follow safety procedures while performing duties, including safely operating vehicles.
- Continuously provide strong customer service to prospective and current guests.
- Daily splash pad testing and maintenance.
- Act in park manager stead during their vacations or days off which may include some weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Tools I Use**:

- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Ability to work in a team environment and with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to operate and maintain powered equipment such as lawnmowers, chainsaws and small hand tools.
- Knowledge and ability to safely conduct basic maintenance on equipment used around the property.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, hydro repairs would be considered an asset.
- Hard working, reliable, and focused on providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to prioritize daily work tasks and be able to adapt to changing priorities.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related role.
- Must have a valid G-class driver’s license.
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 25 pounds on a frequent basis.
- Must be available for sewer, water, and property emergencies outside normal operating hours (infrequent)

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience working in the hotel or campground industry or building maintenance background.
- Knowledge of water/wastewater issues, minor electrical and plumbing repairs.
- Current First Aid certification.
