**Responsibilities of a Used Car Manager role include**:
- Set sales and gross objectives for salespeople;
- Meet forecast goals and objectives;
- Manage the used car inventory;
- Mentor staff and work with salespeople on programs that will increase the used-car gross and increase F&I penetration;
- Responsible for V-Auto and all UCD online marketing, pricing and presence;
- Manage controllable expenses;
- Support /promote & motivate the Business Office;
- Support/guide dealer trade office;
- Share knowledge of the appraisal process, helping others to call a vehicle if required effectively;
- Assist sales consultants in closing deals and aim for a benchmark of 100% management turnover;
- Maintain an attractive outside display /showroom;
- Remain abreast on market and industry trends to ensure inventory remains in demand;
**What You Offer**:
- Domestic or import brand experience;
- Minimum 2 years experience as a Used Car Manager is considered an asset;
- Ability to effectively manage all areas of the used car department, including but not limited to wholesale, retail, purchasing and marketing;
- Ability to hire, train and effectively lead sales consultants;
- Valid OMVIC license;
- Valid G driver's license
