**What we need**

We are currently seeking a **Housekeeping Supervisor** whose skills will contribute to our organisation’s mission. Reporting to the Director of Operations, Guest Experience, the incumbent will perform various tasks related to the general maintenance of buildings and facilities, while using working work safe methods. He/she will supervise the work of the other members periodically during the shift.

**What you’ll do**
- Supervise the work of team members by making regular rounds during the shift and make corrections if necessary;
- Inspect the premises and facilities to ensure compliance with the established cleanliness and health and safety norms and standards;
- Maintain the Spa facilities by performing cleaning tasks such as sweeping, polishing, dusting, washing, disinfecting, etc.;
- Work with the supplier of cleaning products to resolve cleaning issues;
- Manage schedules;
- Place orders for equipment and maintenance products as needed;
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new employees;
- Perform other related duties.

**Profile needed**

**What is the profile needed in order to be successful in this position**
- Knowledge of housekeeping techniques;
- Three to five (3-5) years experience in housekeeping supervision;
- Experience working in the tourism industry, an asset;
- Inspiring and Dynamic leadership;
- Ability to solve problems quickly;
- Ability to integrate safety into work procedures;
- Strong teamwork ethic;
- Be responsible, autonomous and resourceful;
- Be in good physical shape; ability to work outdoors during all months of the year (weather appropriate uniform provided);
- WHMIS certification would be an asset;
- Health and Hygiene training, would be an asset;
- You are able to reach, bend, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs (22.5 kg);
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts.
